Borumba Pumped Hydro Energy Storage Project, AU $14.2B
The proposed Borumba Pumped Hydro Project, is a 2,000 MW pumped hydro energy storage system at Lake Borumba, located near Imbil, west of the Sunshine Coast. As Project Director Leah led Project through its formative stages of establishment, concept design, detailed design award, early & exploratory works, contract development and initial market engagement.
If constructed the Project will expand the existing lower reservoir (Lake Borumba) with a new dam downstream from the current Borumba Dam. Construct a upper reservoir at a higher altitude, an underground power station and underground tunnels to link the two reservoirs together providing reliable renewable energy for Queensland.

Bruce Highway Upgrade Caloundra Road to Sunshine Motorway (CR2SM), AU$932m
Leah led the CR2SM Project over a 10 year period from concept planning through to construction and operation. Lead was initially the Project Director before moving into the role of Principal.
The CR2SM Project constructed a 7km upgrade of the Bruce
Highway between Caloundra Road and Sunshine Motorway, including an upgrade to both the Sunshine Motorway and Caloundra Road
interchanges, a six-lane upgrade of the Bruce Highway between the two interchanges returning the highway to 110km/h, as well as a fully connected service road on the western side of the highway. The Project constructed Australia’s first Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI) at Caloundra Road, pictured.
